The ATLS Refresher Course is a half-day continuing medical education program designed for providers who currently hold a valid and current ATLS card.

Course Completion Requirements:
Successful completion is based on the provider's overall performance throughout the entire course. Recognition of successful course completion is contingent on meeting the following requirements:

• Attendance at the entire course (all lectures, skill stations, and testing stations)
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in accordance with course requirements
• Minimum examination score of 75%

Terms and Conditions: 

All ATLS course registration fees include a portion of non-refundable fees. Any cancellations will be based on the following schedule:

  • $100 non-refundable fee, regardless of the timing of the cancellation.
  • $200 total non-refundable fee, if canceled after ATLS book is shipped.
  • Any cancellations within five days of an ATLS course require approval, and refunds are not guaranteed.

Rescheduling to a different course date following the completion of a course registration is subject to a rescheduling fee of $82.50.

The Sim Center does not accept personal checks for course registration fees. Students can pay cash, by credit card, or a business/employer’s check.

The Sim Center reserves the right to cancel these courses due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment.

Cancellation due to enrollment would be announced no later than 3 weeks prior to course dates. Students will be rescheduled to a later date or provided a full refund. Travel should not be booked before this time. Tulane is not responsible for any fees related to a canceled course.
